Jim Keyes

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Jim has over 35 years of Project and Executive Management and Contract Supervision in Forestry (Engineering, Harvesting and Protection), and in Oil and Gas (Pipeline Construction and Maintenance).

He has created high performance teams by attracting top talent, motivating, and coaching them to maximize company goals. With versatility from the board room to the shop floor, Jim has been successful in managing a diverse set of stakeholders.

Jim manages the day-to-day operations of the company, overseeing both the Operational and Financial functions.

Cole Pozzobon

Operations Manager

Cole brings over 23 years in the Oil and Gas Industry. His duties as the Operations Manager are to oversee operational activities at every level of CUS’s organization. He is involved with the hiring and training of employees and managing quality assurance programs. He prides himself on optimizing productivity and quality, managing risks and compliance along with developing effective strategies and a great safety culture.

Cole also has a young family that encourages him to be better at his job each day. When he isn’t busy with his responsibilities at CUS, he and his family enjoy fishing, boating on the lake, or taking the kids to compete at rodeos.

Maria Silver

Financial Controller

Maria Silver, CPA, CGA

Maria is a proven team leader with a history of building strong partnerships through a collaborative approach to problem solving with a focus on overall operations effectiveness and ROI through financial management and strategic planning. She has a Commerce Degree from Laurentian University and is a member of Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia and Ontario.

Prior to joining Ckukutusem Utility Services Maria had worked in several sectors including not-for-profit, SAAS, telecommunications and manufacturing in Ontario and British Columbia. She has launched a successful biomass start-up company with two manufacturing facilities; worked with post-mergers and acquisitions to integrate acquired companies into new environments establishing business relationships and implementing new systems.

Brittany Libby

Safety Manager

Brittany is a Health & Safety consultant with over 15 years of experience leading and implementing safety programs. 

Brittany is a National Construction Safety Officer and studied Occupational Health & Safety at the University of Calgary. Brittany specializes in incident classification and investigation prioritizing the outmost care and concern for the health & safety of personnel while minimizing negative impact on project incident frequencies.  

Brittany believes in a strong, approachable safety presence in the field.  A carpenter by trade, Brittany has a unique understanding of safety at an operational level and encourages an environment where personnel can freely express themselves and feel supported in the process. 

In her spare time Brittany enjoys playing tennis, reading, and hanging out with her little dog Zeus.
